Kakinada, Dec 15th: A newly born baby was taken away by an unidentified woman. The incident took place at Government General Hospital, Kakinada on Monday. The women misguided the parents and the relatives of the baby and ran away along with the infant. The baby was born on Sunday.
According to the police, the mother of the baby, Nagamani was a resident of Santhanapuri colony of Godarigunta. She was admitted in GGH for delivery on Sunday. At the early hours of Monday Nagamani gave birth to a male child. An unidentified woman asked Nagamani to take the child for polio drops.
Nagamani took the child for Polio drops. When they are back to the labor room woman asked her to bring water for the child and Nagamani went for the same. Before she return woman ran away with the child. The kin of the family complained about the incident in GGH out police station. SI Rammohan Rao filed the case and searching for the woman.
