District Level Under-19 Chess competitions for boys and girls was conducted at Rama Krishna Public School this Sunday. School Correspondent, Mr. P.S.R.K Timmaji Rao had commenced this game. Speaking on this, Mr. Timmaji Rao said that Chess helps to improve concentration in students. District Chess Association President, Mr. Y.D.Ramarao said that winners in these competitions would be eligible to participate in State Level competitions, which will be conducted from 24th to 26th of this month at Guntur. Princpal K.Apparao, Association Secretary Kalyan Kumar, Joint Secretaries Mr. Rajasekhar Reddy Prasad, Y.Sita Ram and nearly 30 sportsperson from various places participated in this competitions. P.Saketh, Y.Sai Kiran, D.Leela Kumar, Hari Krishna won in the competition under boy’s category. B.Sowmya, P.Siri, B.Navya, Y.Uthkala won under girl’s category.
