District Joint Collector, Mr. Ahmed Babu has participated in a web conference, which has been conducted by State Civil Supplies Department Commissioner Mr. Harpreet Singh and UIDAI Assistant Director Padmaja here on Monday with all respective officials from the state on implementation of e-pass system in all the districts. According to this, Mr. Babu had explained them about the implementation of e-pass system (biometric ration supply) in the district. Later, speaking with media, he said, the officials of Maharashtra state government and Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Mumbai region are going to visit East Godavari district on 4th of October to study e-pass system in the district. He said, the officials are showing interest on successful implementation of e-pass system in the district and they are eager to study the process, he added.
