Two found with swine flu symptoms

Hyderabad, May 17th: Health officials have found two persons with swine flu symptoms on Sunday. These people were among the 144 passengers who flew from US on Emirates flight that arrived Shamshabad airport on May 13. According to the officials the blood samples of the suspected were sent for tests. On the other hand the authorities have created a hot line number 040-23814939 to answer queries of passengers who were on the Emirates flight.

 

With the orders given by the higher authorities, the district heath officials traced the addressed of all the 144 passengers out of which 141 are from AP, two from MP ad one from Karnataka.  Out of 141 in the state, 60 are from Hyderabad and its outskirts and 44 passengers from Ranga Reddy District. Addresses of 20 passengers of Hyderabad were already traced and district medical and health officer, Dr Ch. Jayakumari said that they have sent medical teams to the race the rest of passengers.

 

Mean while samples were collected from four people in Nizamabad who has swine flu symptoms. It is learn that these persons were among the passengers on board the Emirates flight. It is said that these persons had ignored the warning of the authorities and left the airport. The samples will be sent to the Delhi based National Institute of Comminicable Diseases.
