Twenty20 Championship Cricket Competitions, which are jointly organised by Eenadu & Simhadri TMT Steels were started here on Tuesday at JNTU-K Sports Grounds in Kakinada. Around 60 teams from Rajahmundry, Kakinada & Amalapuram areas are came to attend these competitions under Junior & Senior categories. According to this, District SP Mr. Siva Sankar Reddy had presided over the program as a chief guest and started the competitions here. Speaking on this, he stated that the sportiveness is very important to the players to reach their goals. Leadership qualities will be developed through sports, he added. Later, JNTU-K Principal Mr. K. Padma Raju has stated that sports are very essential for the students along with their education. He appreciated 'Eenadu' for conducting these type of sports events.
