District Sportsperson received 22 two medals in the Seventh Southeast "Takewondo" competitions conducted in Chennai on 14th and 15th of this month. More than 340 sportsperson from eight states participated in these competitions and 33 sportsperson from our district participated and received 22 medals. Y.Dinesh, K.Nirmala Jyothi, P.S.Manisha and S.Bhargavi achieved 1st place. D.Tathalu, Ch.Akhilesh Reddy, B.Meena, V.Rama Krishna, V.Krishna Chaitanya, P.Aditya, V.Pramod Kumar, K.Chinni and Ch.Lalitha Satya Anjani achieved 2nd place. K. Mahesh, M.Veera Babu, A.P.Santhosh, B.S.Moses, Natraj, B.Prakash, P.Mehar Abhishek, P.Babi and Ch.Satish achieved 3rd place. On this occasion, State Taekwondo Secretary K.Srinivas Rao, District Taekwondo Secretary Kamchey Badri, Karate Master Sankar, Raju, Murali and Kishore congratulated the winners.
