Hyderabad, July 14th: Six TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) members including the party’s former MLC, Mr. Rahman have decided to quit the party and join the Congress in a week. Two TRS MLAs are also reportedly ready to cross the floor and are waiting for the right opportunity. Mr. Rahman along with Mr. A. Chandrasekhar, Mr. Ravindra Naik, Mr. Balakrishna Reddy and others TRS leaders crosses words with the TRS chief, Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Sources said that Mr. Rahman and other party leaders would join the Congress in presence of the Chief Minister, Dr. Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy, in a week. When contacted, Mr. Rahman admitted that he has decided to quit the TRS and join the Congress. He said that the TRS chief has showed no inclination or respect for the senior party leaders. He refused to reveal the names of other senior party leaders who have decided to join the congress.

The TRS has suffered many setbacks after 2004. First 10 party MLAs crossed floor, most of whom joined congress. Subsequently, several senior party leaders quit the TRS after the 2009 poll debacle. Meanwhile there are rumors that the TD MLAs, Mr. Bala Nagireddy and Mr. Bangi Ananthaiah have also decided to quit the TD and join the Congress.
