Tribals issued with land pattas

Rampachodavaram, May 31st: The minister for Social Welfare, Mr. Pilli Subash Chandra Bose along with local MLA, Mr. K. Viswanatha Reddy distributed land pattas to 5,887 landless poor in Rampachodavaram on Sunday. Participating in the distribution program, Mr. Bose said that the government has taken every care to safeguard the interests of tribals. He called upon the people living in agency area to avail themselves of various welfare schemes provided by the government for their overall development.

 

The minister advised the tribals to go for cultivation of mulberry crop for better financial benefit. Mr. Viswanatha Reddy promised the people to strive for the supply of electricity and water in the needy areas. The ITDA project officer, Ms Yogitha Rani said that the beneficiaries cannot sell their pattas. Sub Collector, Mr. Manik Raj, the district forest officer, Mr. J.S.N Murthy also participated in the distribution program.
