Treasury Employees on Strike

As a part of state wide strike yesterday Treasury employees has participated in "Pen Down" strike demanding to solve unresolved problems. They protested against the Government way of dealing things, wearing a black badges instead of executing their duties in the office. They demanded to stop the transfer of their Convener Mr. Nagarjuna Reddy along with the accomplishment of all the 12 demands which were given before. With this Pen Down strike all the Government Financial transactions were stopped and got accumulated. An interruption has taken place in all the other transactions along with TA  and DA bills, information sources tell that nearly one crore worth transactions became immobile because of this strike. 
A rally was organised yesterday afternoon from Treasury Office to Collectorate under the supervision of AP Treasury Services Association. They agitated for some time near Collectorate. They demanded to provide Health Cards through Treasury and to recruite new people to reduce their work burden. They also demanded to increase allowances and provide same salary scale to Sub Treasury Officers as Gazitted Officers and demended to release other budgets. On this occasion Association President Mr. V. V. S. Bhupathi Satyanarayana said that they would stir up the strike until and unless the Government does not respond on their demands. JAC Chairman Mr. Buriga Aisrwaadam, Secretary Mr. Pitani Trinadh Rao supported them. JAC leaders said that Treasury employees strike would show its influence on issue of  employees salaries and pensions. They wished that Government would respond to their demands and try to resolve them as early as possible. AP Treasury Services Association leader Mr. Jaya Datteswara Rao, Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar, Mr. Brahmendra and other participated in this strike.
