Rajiv Vidya Mission Project Officer, Mr. P.Ramesh stated that students must be paid with transportation charges if schools are far than 1KM. This rule will be implemented in district very soon, he added. He also said that the proposals on this have been sent to Hyderabad. In a recent survey, it was declared that children between 6 to 14 years were not going to school if it farther than 1KM. Therefore, to avoid this situation and make every child go to school, this will be implemented soon, he added. Apart from Agency areas, there are three schools farther than 1KM in Rayavaram Mandal in District. Four Students from Someswaram, 8 from Machavaram and 24 from Vedurupaka come to study in these schools. According to the laws and based on situations, Rs.150 will be given to each students for every month. Mr. Ramesh also said that once this has been sanction, Rs.54, 000 will be allotted for the process, he added.
