Training to ideal farmers

Kakinada, Nov 15th: As many as 2,000 ‘Adarsha Rythus’ (model farmers) will be given training in advanced methodologies and technology in agriculture and its allied departments during a training program at five centers in East Godavari district on Monday. The training in the areas like post-harvest technologies, market analysis, WTO (World Trade Organisation) and micro irrigation will be given to the ideal farmers.

They will also be given clear guidance on usage of urea, seeds, water, advanced crop planning, reducing cost of cultivation for a quality agriculture produce for both domestic sales and exports. The joint director of agriculture department of East Godavari, Mr. T. Nandayya told to media that the information that they gain during these training sessions makes their daily farming activities much easier and better. It also leads to an increase in productivity and bigger profits in the long run, he added.
