Kakinada, Mar 29th: The district election authorities has conducted two day training classes for the polling and assistant polling officers at local Ideal College here on Saturday. Addressing the officers of Kakinada constituency who attended the camp on Sunday, East Godavari district joint collector Mr. Kona Sasidhar asked the officers to discharge their duties with dedication. He warned to take severe action on the officers who failed to perform duties entrusted to them. He asked the polling officers to ensure free and fair polling in the Kakinada Constituency.
Later he asked them to create complete awareness on the usage of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) among themselves by reading the hand books given to them at the training centers. RDO Kishore Kumar also attended the camp. Speaking on the occasion he revealed the arrangements done at the training camp.
He said that televisions sets and VCD’s were arranged at all the training rooms to create better awareness among the staff. He revealed that 564 persons attended training classes on first day and 357 officers attended for training on Sunday. Two resource persons were appointed for each training room to give training to the officers. Kakinada Urban Thasildhar Sriram also participated.
