Special training camps will be conducted for more than 10,000 students of 8th, 9th Standard students studying in SC, BC Social Welfare Residential Hostels. Training classes will commence from 1st of May in coordination with Lead India Company. District Collector, Mr. Ravi Chandra said this to news line here on Monday. He participated in the meeting with Welfare officers and Hostel Welfare Officers of SC, BC Welfare Departments at Gowtami Hall, Collectorate. Speaking on this, Collector said that this program is to excel the student’s talent. Joint Director of Social Welfare Department, Mr. Mallikarjuna Rao said that total 11 residential schools across the district have been selected for this training program. Centre for boys were arranged at LN Puram, A.Mallavaram, Jaggampeta, Veeralanka Palli, Hasanbaada, Samanasa Residential Schools. Centre for girls were arranged at Tuni, Rajahmundry, Chollangipeta, Pitapuram Kakinada girls welfare school, Godi hostel. Collector advised District BC Welfare Officer and District SC Welfare officer to forward the report of arrangements made at the respective centers. Additional Joint Collector Mr. B.Ramarao, District BC Welfare Officer Mr. Dhana Raju participated in this program.
