Kakinada, Nov 27th: The East Godavari district superintendent of police, Mr. Y. Nagi Reddy appealed to the public, particularly those in coastal areas to feel free to inform police about any suspicious deeds and moments that they come across during their daily activities over the department's toll free number 1093. The reason behind the special appeal to the public is to strengthen the security measures in the district particularly in the coastal belt as terrorists are selecting coastal ways to enter into the country.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, he said that they were keeping vigil on smuggling along with the terrorists attack into the city. He asked the people living in the coastal areas and the fisher flock to be alert on the illegal entry into the city and asked them to cooperate the police in keeping a track on them. Marine police are also conducting searches along the coastal line.
