As part of strengthening the public grievance restore system further, the East Godavari District administration is setting up a special call centre from the 1st of November. Announcing this during the weekly Grievance Cell Program here on Monday, District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra said that the public could file their grievances by calling a call centre with a toll-free number between 10am and 5pm. The callers must give their complete address and phone number. The issues would be solved within a week from the time of submitting the grievance to the call centre. Mr. Ravi Chandra also advised public not to come all the way to the district headquarters seeking solution to their problems that could be solved at the mandal level. He said that the grievances submitted at the mandal level would be monitored and solved before the stipulated period. He said that the process of issuing of income certificates was simplified for the benefit of students. In this process, students need to submit the filled-in notary form in the office of the Tahasildar concerned. The Tahasildar would handover the certificates to the college managements concerned, he concluded.
