The second phase of Pulse Polio will be conducted for three days from Sunday onwards in District. Nearly 7.40 Lakhs doses were provided to give Polio Drops to nearly 5.2 Lakh children. Total 3,250 Polio Booths have been arranged in District with 7158 Officers of Health Department, 6000 Anganwadi workers, 325 Supervisors. Total 4289 Asha workers, Students of Nursing School will help in distribution of Polio Drops. The first day of Pulse polio would be conducted at Endowments Municipal School, Srinagar. District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra will start the pulse polio program from morning 7:30am. Collector called upon the parents to get their children vaccinated.
