Telugu Language Day, marking the birthday of Legendary modern Telugu Linguist Sri Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy is to be celebrated Today, ie., 29th August at District Collectorate in Kakinada. According to this, the District Collector had released a press note, here on Wednesday. She said these celebrations will be arranged at Collectorate Vidhan Gowtami hall at evening 4pm on the day. On this occasion, people who contributed their service towards the development of Telugu language will be identified and felicitated in this program, she added. Three students, who scored good marks in recent 10th class examinations from the district will be awarded in this program, she added. Later, many cultural activities will be conducted in this program. She called upon the fans of Telugu language to attend the celebrations.
