Kakinada, Jan 23rd: Under the supervision of Electrical and Electronics engineering department, National Students Technical Awareness program was organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College on Friday. JNTU university registrar Mr. Ravindra has inaugurated the program. The program was organized under the leadership of university science and technology director, B. Prabhakar. He paid tributes to Sri Ganti Subramanyam by garlanding his photo. Speaking on the occasion registrar, Mr. Ravindra asked the engineering students to inculcate technical skills besides the normal engineering studies.
ECE (Electronics and Communications Engineering) Department chief and the chairman of the program S. Srinivas Kumar also presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion he said that the program was organized as a part of golden jubilee celebrations of the department. He revealed that nearly 300 research study application are received from different colleges and out of which 125 are approved for further study. Engineering students from different colleges have participated in the meeting.
JNTU evaluation director K. Satya Prasad, Pragathi engineering college principal G. Raghu Ram, Chaithanya engineering college correspondent B. Visweswara Rao, KITE engineering college former principal C.S Muralidhara Sharma and many more spoke on the occasion. Program coordinator A. Mallikarjuna Prasad, V.V Ratna Kumari also took part.
