Kakinada, Nov 30th: Corporation commissioner G.S.N. Murthy has assured to clear all the problems and demands of the teachers. A meeting was held in this regard on Sunday with Teachers union and the assurance was given by the concerned departments regarding the issue.
MLC Goerge Victor has put a written petition to the commissioner regarding the demands of the teachers on 26th of November, and the meeting was held as a reply to the petition. The issues regarding promotions of Head Masters, Promotions of Non-panel HM’s according to seniority were discussed in the meeting for nearly three hours and were finalized.
The committee has decided to appoint Head Mistress to the girl’s schools and recruitment of new faculty in the High Schools. Committee assured to give Provident Funds to the teachers in the month of January, 2009. Corporation Manager L.V.Prasad, Satyanarayana Rao, Swaroop has taken part in the meeting along with UTF members Ramana, Apparao, Suryachakram.
