The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State Women President Mrs. Sobha Hymavathi has stated that the party giving more political importance for Women. Yesterday, she has participated in the seminar which was conducted by the party on the topic 'Women – Political Importance', here on Thursday at Surya Kalamandir in Kakinada as a part of the Women's day celebrations. She criticized that the Congress party has failed to approve the Women's Reservation bill even they have many woman like Sonia Gandhi, Meera Kumari & Prathiba Patel in their party. The seminar was held mainly about the development of women. Later, the Rajya Sabha member Smt. Sita Rama Lakshmi has been felicitated in this program. The party District Women Vice-President Mrs. Kalaga Siva Rani, City President Mrs. Palivela Lakshmi and others spoke in this meeting. Party District President Mr. Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, Ex-MLA Mr. Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, Mr. Pilli Sathibabu, City President Mr. Nunna Dorababu, Ex-MPP Mr. V.Y.Dasu, Mr. Tajuddin, Mr. Jilani, Mr. Gadula Saibabu, Mr. M.Sri Vijay, Mr. Tummala Ramesh, Mr. G.Santha Kumari and others presided over the program.
