Telugu Desam Party Kakinada City & Rural Constituency Leaders began Relay Strike in front of the Collectorate here on Friday in assistance of TDP President, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu who started hunger strike to help the rain-hit farmers in the State. According to this, Former Minister, Mr. Chikkala Rama Chandra Rao said that the only intention behind this strike is to obtain justice to the farmers in the State. There is no other way to make the Government act to help the farmers he added. Former M.L.A, Mr. Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao demanded the Government to announce a compensation of Rs. 10,000 for an acre of Paddy crops. He also requested the Government to buy color-changed grains from the farmers even though the Government incurs loss. District Farmers Association President, Mr. K.Kondayya Dora, Party Leaders, Mr. B.Krishna Mohan, Mr. G.Satyanarayana, Mr. D.Ramana Raju, Mr. V.Y.Dasu, Mr. Jyothula Chanti Babu, Mr. Sitayya Dora, Mrs. K.Siva Rani, Mrs. P.Lakshmi, Mr. K.Apparao, Mr. K.Murthy and Former Corporators, Mr. Rambabu, Mr. Appala Konda participated.
