Kakinada, Feb 8^th: TD East Godavari unit president, Mr. N Chinnarajappa was more confident of TD alliance coming to power in the state in the fore coming elections. He declared this in a review meeting organized at local Suryakala Mandir on Sunday. Addressing the party workers in the meeting, he made few observations that the grand alliance of Telugu Desam (TD), Telangana Rashtra Samiti and the left parties will win more than 100 seats in the Telangana region and will win a majority of seats in the rest of the state. He also expressed confidence in the TDP returning to power with comfortable majority.

Former minister Chikkala Ramachandra Rao also presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion he asked the party leaders and the supporters to bring awareness among the people about various welfare programs taken up by the Telugu Desam Party for the development of the society. Vanamadi Kondababu revealed that the party has scheduled to organize ‘Jana Chaitanya Yatra’ in the town from 12^th to 24^th February. He asked the supporters to make the tour a grand success. D. Ramana Raju, BC cell president R. Surya Rao, former municipal chairman J. Srirama Murthy, K. Siva Rani and other also spoke on the occasion. A large number of party workers attended the meet.
