TD leader ends life

I Polavaram, Dec 28th: Telugu Desam party state organizing secretary and in charge of Mummidivaram Assembly constituency in East Godavari district, Nadimapalli Srinivasa Raju, 39, committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Muramalla village in the early hours of Monday. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. He left a suicide note, stating that nobody was responsible for his death. He also state that he was pained over the agitation for division of the state and committed suicide. He requested the party president, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders to work for Samaikya Andhra State.

Mean while Chandra Babu Naidu expressed condolences to the bereaved family on telephone from Hyderabad. In Kakinada, the TD politburo member and former MLA of Tuni, Mr. Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, the TD district president, Mr. N. Chinarajappa and the other party leaders expressed condolence over the death of Srinivasa Raju. In a release they stated that Mr. Raju started his political career as the sarpanch of Muramalla village and held several key positions in the party.
