Hyderabad, Oct 6: Tata Motors declared that they were ready to relocate their plant in Andhra Pradesh if the government would bear the loss at Singur. They said that they have already invested money on the plant and the government should provide compensation of 700 crores in relocating the plant. In reply, C.M. said that, they will pay the compensation upto 300 crores and they would offer 100% VAT exemption which would come across nearly 100 crores, and give land to ancillary units. But the delegation demanded for total compensation and the decision is up to Y.S.

On Monday morning industrial minister got a call from Tata saying that their general manager Kulkarni would be coming for the site visit. APIIC officers showed him Medak District lands which were not at a stretch.
