District Mahila Swasakthi Sangham activities being motivative, inspired Tamilnadu research team to come here and learn. Mr. Manohar Singh, Additional Director and seven other members as a team belonging to Tamilnadu Rural Development Department reached Kakinada here on Wednesday to research about, women self development schemes that are being implemented. They visited DRDA Office at first, went through Bhima Schemes that are implemented for Mahila Swashakthi Sangam. DRDA Project Director Mr. Madhukar Babu had explained them about all the schemes. There after, they visited Samalkot TTDC office and conferenced with District Women Unification, later they reached Peddhavalsa village in Tallarevu mandal and went through Mahila Swasakthi Sangam members Placement Programmes. They will also study about Scholarships provided to members children through banks and schemes like Abhaya Hastam, said Officers.
