Under-17 Girls & Boys Table Tennis Competitions were conducted here on Sunday, at the District Sports Grounds in Kakinada. The District Table Tennis Association has organised these competitions. According to this, the Pithapuram Constituency MLA Mrs. Vanga Geeta has started these competitions here. Speaking on this, she stated that the Table Tennis game receiving good response in these days. Many people showing interest to play this game, she added. The state government is releasing funds for the development of sports in the district, she stressed. Later, the association has selected the district TT team players in these competitions. Association Secretary Mr. Mohan said that this team will participate in State level competitions, which are to be held at Anantapuram district on 12th of this month. Coach Mr. Venugopala Rao and the Association members were participated in the program.
