T stir blamed for price rise

Kakinada, Dec 14th: Former city president of the Telugu Desam (TD), Mr. D. Ramana Raju, felt that due to the Center's announcement of initiating steps for formation of separate Telangana state, the prices of all the essential commodities have skyrocketed. Though there was no clear picture from the Center on the Telangana issue despite various forms of the protest by the people and all political leaders in Andhra and Rayalaseema till now, people, particularly common man are facing trouble with soaring prices of the commodities, he added.

In a release here on Monday, Mr. Ramana Raju stated that the Center and the elected leaders in Congress were solely responsible for the present horrible conditions in the state. The TD leader said that Mps also should immediately resign from their elected posts and then prove their support to the pleas of people of Andhra and Rayalaseema, who want a united Andhra.
