Sweden Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Pro Vice-Chancellor Mr. Andrews, Dean of Computing Mr. Koni Johnson, Project Director Mr. Gurudatta and Representative Deepika Kishore have visited Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K) here on Thursday. They have examined all the class rooms, laboratories and other amenities which are provided in the University. In the official meet arranged in the university premises, JNTU-K Vice Chancellor Dr. Tulasi Ram Das stated that the faculty exchange program should be implemented from this year. He had decided to send any one faculty from the university once in a every year to BTH for 2-8 weeks program to give training to their students. He suggested students to learn Sweden language because it is helpful to them, when they are going to do their further studies in that country. He asked BTH university officials to permit JNTU-K that to provide training on Sweden language. He also asked them to change M.Tech Radio Communication course as M.Tech Wireless Communication. He noticed the officials to allow the students to do Ph.D program from their university when they have studied 6months in JNTU-K and another one-and-half year in BTH. Later, Mr. Andrews and Mr. Koni Johnson stated that, Indian students should improve their Communication and Technical skills, their faculty should give more importance for these things, they added. They asked students to learn Sweden language who wish to do further studies in their country. Later, both University officials have signed in some agreements. Prasad, Directors Mr. Prasad Raju, Mr. Rangajanardhan, Mr. Saibabu, Mr. Mallikarjun Rao, Mr. Purnanandam, Mr. Srinivasa Kumar, Mrs. Santhi Prabha, Mr. Abayya, PHD's Mr. Satyanarayana, Mr. Babulu, Mr. J. V. R. Murthy, Mr. Ramalinga Raju and others participated in this program.
