Suspicious murder of Moddu Srinu

Hyderabad, Nov 9th: Moddu Srinu who was accused in killing Telugu Desam Party leader Paritala Ravi was killed in a suspicious manner in Ananthapur jail at early hours of Sunday at 4.30am.

Om Prakash, who was a co-prisoner, killed Srinu by hitting him with cement dumbbell when he was sleeping and the victim was dead while undergoing treatment. Om Prakash was arrested due his previous murders and was a dacoit.

According to the police, quarrel took place between the two when Srinu asked Om Prakash to Switch of the lights who was writing Rama Koti for which he rejected. Srinu switched of the lights and went to sleep. Om Prakash killed Srinu sat beside him in a Padmasana Posture.

Eye witnesses and the co-prisoners said that they woke up after hearing the sound of the dumbbell and saw that Om Prakash smashing the head of Srinu, who died while undergoing treatment. Many questions were arising regarding the murder that whether this is a preplanned murder or took place due to the quarrel.

Ramakotamma Mother of Srinivas Reddy Alias Moddu Srinu was suspecting that Maddelacheruvu Suri was also involved in her son’s murder at Ananthapur jail. Two of the jail wardens who were on duty on Saturday were suspended for their negligence.

Telugu Desam Party President Nara Chandra Babu Naidu speaking to the media regarding the incident said that many more including the Chief Minister and Suri were behind the murder of Paritala Ravi and were trying to eliminate the key persons who were involved in Paritala Ravi’s murder to calm up the facts.
