Support to Anna Hazare, who is fighting continuously against corruption is increasing day by day in the district. Parties and various organizations are supporting him beyond expectations. They are participating in various rallies, fasting and Padhayatras. Various political parties, representatives of voluntary organizations, students, traders and business people participated in ‘Padayatra’ from Indrapalem Bridge to Jagganaickpur Bridge. Participating in this rally, they raised slogans against corruption. All shops including gold shops were closed as a part of this strike. In association with Pyramid Party of India, youth and businesspersons staged protest before Collectorate and Balaji Cheruvu Center. In this rally, Ladies Recreation Club, Kakinada Institute of Fashion Technology, CBM College, Rotary Lions Club Representatives, students participated.
