Kakinada, Dec 4th: An engineering student of first year B.Tech studying in Chaitanya Engineering College, E. Venkatesh committed suicide by hanging himself in hostel room on Friday. Venkatesh is pursuing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. He was native of Vijayawada rural. Kakinada police registered a case and investigating the case in all possible angles.

According to the police, Venkatesh belongs to a farmers family who completed his high school and intermediate in college near by their village. After completing his intermediate he joined in engineering college in Kakinada. His friends said that Venkatesh was always home sick and could not concentrate on studies. Venkatesh due to home sick stayed at home for more than 2 months and returned back to hostel 20 days back.

On Friday afternoon, he hanged himself in his hostel room which was observed by his friends and intimated the same to the hostel management. Management immediately complained to the police who reached the spot and found a suicide note written by Venkatesh saying that no one is responsible for his suicide. Police registered the case and investigating.
