Vijayanagaram, Nov 24th: Suicide attempt made by brother and sister has created sensation in the collectorate on Monday. The incident took place at the Grievance cell conducted at Vijayanagaram collector office.
According to sources, Rambabu and Bhagya Lakshmi belong to Vijayanagaram, who lost their parents 3 years back. Their father worked as TT in railway department and died on duty. Children applied for the benefits pertaining to death at the collectorate three years ago for which the officials took no action.
Rambabu insisted for Government job for which the officers tried to satisfy him with private job. Rambabu and his sister were fed up with the issue and took sleeping pills in the office premises on Monday.
With the news, collector and the officers alerted the 108 and shifted the bodies to the Government hospital for treatment. Doctors declared that the condition of Bhagya Lakshmi was improved while the condition of Rambabu was critical. He was shifted to KGH for further treatment.
