Kakinada, Dec 1st: A couple who fell in love 1 year ago attempted suicide as the parents did not accept their love and warned of killing them if they continue the same. The incident took place at Kakinada on Monday. The girl died while undergoing treatment and the boy was striving for life.
According to the information provided by the kin relatives, both Satishbabu (19), Anumanthu Venkatadurga belonging to different castes and their love was not accepted by the parents of both the families due to same reason. Couple decided to run away from the house and get married.
On Monday both of them eloped from the house. Their parents came to know about this issue through their relative Rajesh on phone. The Couple got afraid and decided to die by consuming pesticide. Rajesh shifted them to GGH, Kakinada for treatment. Doctors declared that Venkatadurga died before she was shifted to hospital and Satishbabu’s condition was serious.
