Vijayawada Division Chief Commercial Manager (CCM), Mr. R.Dhanunjay made sudden inspection here at Kakinada Town Railway Station. Without giving any clue to officers, he reached all of a sudden. Food stalls, Drinking water taps, Waiting Rooms, Rest Rooms, Parcel Office, Clock Room and Toilets were examined. Similarly, he also observed the work progress of platform development and lift construction works. He passed orders and suggestions to railway officers, on the issues observed in this inspection. He advised to provide two more fans in waiting hall and one drinking water tap on the platform. Speaking to media persons, he said that small but basic facilities would be provided for the passengers. Replying to media people, when they questioned about the reason behind closure of Perrajupeta Railway gate, he said that it is due to the construction works of fly over.
