Students told to improve English

Kakinada, Dec 13th: Students of SC, BC and minority categories, who are being imparted education under the Reliance Dhirubhai Ambani's Protsaham scheme at various corporate colleges in East Godavari district, were advised to improve English language skills for easy and immediate career settlement. Participating in the Backward Class Welfare departments one day motivation training camp for students held at the Rangaraya Medical College auditorium here on Sunday, East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi asked the officials concerned to take all necessary steps to help students excel in their academic syllabi including English language skills.

Nearly 1,400 such students are being given quality education at various corporate colleges at Rajahmundry and Kakinada cities in the district, he said. Officials should throughly monitor the welfare of students and take prompt steps for better results, he said. He appealed to the Reliance management to extend special financial help to the top three rankers from these students on the coming Eamcet-2010. Reliance representatives Nagireddy and Sriramamurthy were present.
