Chaitanya Group of Educational Institutions conducted ‘Student HR Summit' in which hundreds of engineering and management students from various parts of State participated here on Saturday. Participating as the chief guest in the inaugural session, Vice-Chancellor of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada (JNTU-K), Prof. Allam Appa Rao stressed the need for bridging the gap between the industry and the institution and refreshing the curriculum to meet the present day challenges in the industrial sector. Stating that India was known for its human resources in the international market, Prof. Appa Rao advised students to focus on their overall development rather than mere passing out from the educational institutions. Managing Director of the Chaitanya group, Mr. K. Sasikiran Varma said the group was conducting campus recruitments in association with multi-national companies, so that its students would get better employment opportunities.
