State Teachers Union (STU) has submitted an appeal letter to the State Chief Minister Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy on his one-day visit to the district, here on Sunday. They asked the CM to upgrade state-wide ten thousand P.E.T & Pandit Teachers posts to School Assistants posts. STU Leaders Mr. D.Venkat Rao, Mr. P.V.Satyanarayana Raju, Mr. K.V.Sekhar and others officially met the Chief Minister and submitted the appeal letter on this. They had requested CM for the recruitment of DyEO posts in the state. They asked him to release the notification for Vidya Volunteers posts. They also requested him to introduce service rules to Teachers, to issue Health Cards for Teachers and also to provide Gazetted positions for Municipal High School Head Masters in the state.
