Kakinada, Mar 3rd: The ''SC Reservation Parirakshana Vedika'' on Wednesday decided to launch a signature campaign opposing Andhra Pradesh government’s move to accord SC status to Dalit Christians. Under the agitation program drawn up at its meeting here, it decided to take up the signature campaign in all the mandals in East and West Godavari districts from March 20 to April 14 and present a memorandum with the signatures to all the MRO’s. It will also stage protest demonstrations at all mandal headquarters on April 14, marking DR B R Ambedkar's birth anniversary. The forum's President Pothumudi Subbarao and General Secretary, M Jai Prakash also said they would intensify the state wide agitation enlisting the support of all like minded organizations.
