Kakinada, Mar 13^th: District administration is taking all measures to ensure smooth polls in the district. The authorities are making all possible arrangements to conduct polls in a fair and free manner. Sensitive polling areas were already identified by the authorities and measures were being taken to provide special security forces at all the identified areas in the district. To identify the movement of the voters and the political representatives, the administration is planning to install cameras in the polling areas. With this the persons who deter polling can be easily identified.

In addition to this the arrangements for removing unnecessary holdings and flexi boards in public areas were also taken. Unauthorized movement of party vehicles was also controlled. Political representatives are asked to seek prior permission from the concerned returning officers for organizing political rallies and road shows during the time of elections. More police forces will also be deployed at the sensitive polling stations. Authorities are have already started issuing electronic photo identity cards to the voters and the persons who fail to produces the cards during the time of voting will not be allowed to exercise their vote.
