Hyderabad, June 16th: The state government will reshuffle 50 IAS officers on Wednesday. This will be the biggest drive ever taken by the government after Dr. Raja Shekar Reddy took over as the Chief Minister in 2004. The government has decided to bring changes in the administration and as a part of it has already reshuffled 11 district collectors and taken up a drive to reshuffle the IAS officers in the second phase.
According to the sources, top bureaucrats in the state would be given new post in the reshuffle. In this process the senior officials including the special chief secretary, Mr. Samuel, Mr. Priyaranjandas, Ms. Rachel Chatterjee, Mr. A.K Goel, Mr. Parida, Ms. Janaki Kondapi and Mr. Ramana Chari will be moved. However the irrigation department team consisting of Mr. Adityanath Das, Mr. R.R Misra and Mr. S.K Joshi will continue in their present posts.
There will be no changes for the officials belonging to the power department. Mr. Sudeerth Bhattacharya and Ajay Jain will continue as heads of AP Transco and AP Genco. Further Mr. Dinesh Kumar will continue as the principal secretary and the agriculture commissioner, Ms Poonam Malakondaiah will also retain her post.
