Kakinada student Akhila from Sri Chaitanya Junior college stood as State Topper in the Intermediate 1st Year MPC result by attaining 466 marks out of 470 marks for 2012 academic year. According to the Intermediate Board results 2012 released on 20th of April, this result was announced. East Godavari District achieved 7th position in State, but the pass percentage is same when compared to last year ie., 55%. A total of 21,699 students qualified in the Examination out of 43,557 students from the district. Among which 8,398 boys and 19,014 girls qualified under general category. However, girls were leading with the majority of pass percentage in the district. Intermediate Board Regional Joint Director Mr. N.S.Arora announced that the Advanced Supplementary examination for unqualified candidates will be conducted from next month 23rd onwards.
