The State Level Devotional Songs Competitions will be conducted on 4th of this month to commemorate Late Gundlapalli Adi Narayana. Secretary of Srirama Samajam, Mr. Munugunti Srirama Murthy said this to news line here on Wednesday. These competitions will be conducted at Surya Kala Mandir, Kakinada. Speaking on this, Mr. Srirama Murthy stated that interested candidates from across the State could take part in these competitions. These competitions will be conducted in two categories, one is Junior Category for candidates below 15 years of age and other is senior’s category for candidates between 16 to 25 years of age. Participants need to be expertise in at least two devotional songs to take part in these competitions. The participants need to be dressed up in traditional wear only and participants from other places will be provided with snacks on morning and lunch at afternoon. Winners will be awarded with cash prizes, he added. In Senior’s category, first prize is Rs.2000/- , second prize is Rs.1500/- and third prize is Rs.500/- cash. In Junior’s category, first prize is Rs.1500/- , second prize is Rs.1000/- and third prize is Rs.500/- cash, he added.
