All the opposition parties in the state organizing a State Bandh Today, against the hike of power tariff and power cuts in AP. According to this, the District CPI (M), the CPI and the CPI (ML-New Democracy), TDP, YSR Congress & Loksatta parties called upon the people of the district to make the State bandh a success. They sought the cooperation of people for the State bandh. All schools have declared holiday, while the government offices and banks also declared holiday. Shops and establishments have come forward to down their shutters. Students Federation of India (SFI), Kakinada supporting this bandh. This is the second phase of Left parties’ agitation against the power hike and the acute power crisis.
