Kakinada, Mar 22nd: The SSC exams that are scheduled to be organized from march 23rd to April 6th has started today. The education authorities have made all the arrangements to conduct the exams in a smooth manner. All the Xerox shops nearer to the examination were closed to avoid unnecessary disturbances.
Nearly 80, 301 students are going to appear for the exams and out of these 58,023 will appear as regular students and the remaining will appear as private candidates. Authorities have arranged 253 centers for regular candidates and 96 centers for private candidates.
Drinking water and medical facilities were arranged for the students who appear for the exams. Speaking to the media, district educational officer, Mr. Mallikarjuna Rao said that a total of 349 chief superintendents, 349 departmental officers and 4,027 invigilators are appointed in all the exam centers in the district.
He revealed that flying squads were appointed to avoid any kind of mass copying and mall practices. Sitting squads, Thasildhars and MPD’o will also be invigilating the exam centers. Students are strictly prohibited from wearing school uniform and carrying school badges.
