Mr. L.Sridhar Reddy took charge as District Panchayathi Officer (DPO) here on Monday. Earlier, Mr. Reddy was working as Gazetted Inspector at Samarlakota Extension Officer’s Training Centre. On receiving transfer orders, he was appointed as District Panchayathi Officer. Mr. Sridhar Reddy already worked as DPO in Nellore, West and East Godavari Districts. He also worked as ED at BC Corporation Office at Vishakapatnam. After taking responsibilities as DPO, he met Animal Welfare Minister Mr. Pinepe Viswaroop, District Collector Mr. M.Ravi Chandra and ZP CEO Bhavani Das here on Monday. Speaking to media persons, Mr. Reddy stated that he would pay special attention in providing sanitation and drinking water facility in Grama Panchayathi. After taking charge as DPO, DPO office staff and Secretaries of Village Panchayathi welcomed him with flower bouquets.
