Senior Assistant working in Health Department of Kakinada Municipal Corporation, Mr. Chekka Ramana has been suspended here on Saturday. Municipal Commissioner Mr. Ravi Kumar has passed suspension orders. This suspension order was due to negligence shown during tender process related to purchasing of sanitary tools. Commissioner observed that there are few defects in application of tender agreement. He also took the complaints received on this into consideration. Despite of explanation given by Mr. Ramana that it was due to technical problems, Commissioner passed suspension order. As Venkata Ramana was also working as President of Municipal Ministerial Association, employees of the association are in anger. They are making trails to cancel the suspension orders passed and on this, they will meet Commissioner on Monday.
