Pragati Educational Institutions, Kakinada have conducted Sports Day Celebrations here on Friday. According to this, Rangaraya Sports Secretary Mr. K.Sparjan Raju and JNTU-K Sports Secretary Mr. Syam Kumar presided over the celebrations as chief guests. As a part of the celebrations, various sports like Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Cricket & Shuttle competitions were conducted in the school grounds. Addressing the students, Chief guests stated that Sports are also part of the education, which contributes for peaceful mind & good health to children. They suggested all the children to do regular exercise for physical fitness in their lives. Speaking on this, Chairman of the Educational Institutions, Mr. N.Purnachandra Rao stated that 'Pragati Educational institution always stood first to encourage children in sports along with education'. Later, Chief guests presented prizes to the winners of the competition. Academic Director Mr. Sarveswara Rao, Principal Mr. D.Jaya Prakash, Mr. Dhadaji and other staff participated in the program.
