Kakinada Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Principal, Mr. K.Uday Bhaskar announced that JNTU-K (Autonomous) is going to celebrate Sports day here on 13th of April. According to this, he released a press note on 12th of April. He said that competitions like Shuttle, Tennis, Volleyball, Chess, Kabbadi, Ball Badminton and other sports would be conducted. Later, chief guests will distribute prizes to the winners of the respective competitions. Mr. Uday Bhaskar stated that JNTU-K Vice Chancellor Mr. Allam Apparao, Collector Mr. M. Ravi Chandra, Superintendent of Police Mr. Srinivas and other officials would be part of these celebrations to appreciate the students. Alumni Auditorium has been set with all arrangements for the celebrations. The students will also perform many other cultural programs, he added.
