In an official release here on Wednesday, District Collector Mr. M.Ravi Chandra said that special health awareness camps will be conducted in East Godavari District from the 30th of August. Following the instructions of Chief Minister, Mr. K.Rosaiah through a video conference, he said that special awareness camps will conducted on seasonal diseases and sanitation will be organized in district from the 30th of August to the 15th of September. He also called upon doctors of Government hospitals and primary health centers to offer better services to the poor with the available medicines and equipment. Addressing a review meeting with officials of the Medical and Health Department, Mr. Ravi Chandra asked them to get medicines based on the requirement and popularize the ‘104' mobile hospital facility in rural areas. Advising doctors to focus on seasonal diseases, Mr. Ravi Chandra stressed the need for proper vaccination. District Medical and Health Officer Mr. D. Vijay Kumar and other officials were present.
