Tuni, Nov 27th: Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Commission has decided to start special road services for the tourists of south. This is to provide more facilities to the tourists and devotees to avoid heavy rush in the buses at the time of festivals and special occasions. Zone Executive director Vivekananda said this to the press on Thursday.
Vivekananda was transferred from Kadapa Zone on 24th of November as Vijayawada-Vishakapatnam zone DE, accordingly press meet was held. Speaking on the occasion he said that special buses will be started by them under the name of ‘Parijathrayam’, to the places like Tirupathi, Annavaram, Simhachalam as one day packages along with Dharshanam.
These services will start from 16th of December and continue till January 15th. He also said that APSRTC is going to streamline the workshops of Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam bus complex. “Due to these additional services huge profit will be gained by APSRTC”, he added.
